METHODS COMMITTEE'S DECISIONS ON DURHAM SURPRISE

Dear Sir.- In accordance with the Decisions of the Central Council (Handbook. p. 26), I have to report the following unanimous decisions of the Methods Committee:

(1) The methods rung as Durham Surprise Major, Royal and Maximus are not acceptable extensions of Durham Surprise Minor.

(2) The Royal and Maximus are acceptable extensions of the Major.

(3) One new name should be given to the Major, Royal and Maximus by the Leicester Diocesan Guild.- Yours faithfully,
