Some New Touches of Grandsire Doubles

BY ANTHONY P. SMITH

In spite of the fact that much Grandsire Doubles is rung there are very few different touches called. This is a pity, because Grandsire has a large number of touches of varying length even at the Doubles stage. This collection is the result of a complete analysis of the touches in the method. No originality is claimed for any of the touches. Even-length touches can be called starting from any lead giving a total of 83 different touches.
