As an incentive for a membership drive, the Andover District at their annual meeting at Andover were offered a six months' subscription to "The Ringing World" to the tower that could produce most new members from the date of the meeting.
The Rev. P. K. Venner presided at the meeting, and all the officers were re-elected for a period of three years. The next annual meeting will be held at Whithurch, and it was decided to have a District outing to Salisbury in October. The service was conducted by the Vicar (Rev. Dr. J. Machin).
