Over 40 ringers attended the popular meeting of the Andover District at Longparish, on December 7th, when ringing during the afternoon reached Cambridge Surprise. The Rev. S. N. Agg Large conducted the service, which was followed by a good spread in the Parish Room, arranged by Mrs. Dobson and Miss Goddard.
At the business meeting, with Mr. A. W. Alliston in the chair, Miss Jenkins was elected a member, and Whitchurch selected for the annual meeting on January 11th.
Evening ringing was at Longparish, Barton Stacey and Hurstbourne Priors.
