WINCHESTER & PORTSMOUTH

Christchurch District

A practice meeting was held at Ringwood on February 2nd, when 25 ringers attended from all parts of the Christchurch District.

It was a successful afternoon and evening with striking of a variable quality but, on the whole, quite good. Beginners were encouraged to take part in many touches, whilst the more advanced members interspersed courses of Surprise Major and some Spliced Surprise in three methods. At a short business meeting it was decided to postpone the quarterly meeting arranged to take place at Brockenhurst from March 2nd to March 9th.
