The Guild Dinner was held on Saturday 29 April in the Winchester Cathedral Refectory. This year we saw the largest number attending for some years, with 91 people sitting down. The guest speaker was Dr Michael J de Coursey Henshaw, the Vice-President of the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers. He was introduced by the Guild Master and Gilian Davis replied.
The balance carried forward in the accounts is deliberately reduced this year, through diners being charged for their meals at cost.
This is my last report and I stood down at the Guild AGM. I pass on my best wishes to my successor.
