WINCHESTER CATHEDRAL REFECTORY

Guild bellringers were on parade at the Refectory three times in 2000. There is a very faithful band of about 20 ringers who turn up to serve, waitress and help with the washing up. For our autumnal duty, three ringers brought along their handbells and provided some lovely handbell ringing for the diners. They were much appreciated and encouraged to come again for the 2001 duty days, in March, June and October.

In spite of it being tiring work we do have a good day and are a happy band of helpers. If anyone else is interested in giving their time for approximately four hours, three times a year, then I would be pleased to hear from you. Thank you.
