There have been changes to the membership this year. Francis Mitchell has resigned, we thank him for his service to the committee over the years. Colin Cook has accepted an invitation to join and Ian MacCallion has rejoined after a number of years’ absence.
Colin was responsible for a most successful promotion of ringing at the Winchester Cathedral School Leavers’ Days in June. A full account of this event can be found at www.learntoring.com, an extension to the Guild web site aimed at potential recruits which the committee has constructed.
Ian will be leading a restructuring of the web site to give it a fresh appearance and also to ensure that this valuable Guild resource is not dependant upon a single individual.
Two Newsletters have been published during the year. Funding for an experiment in 2005 with some colour has been agreed by the Executive Committee.
