EDUCATION COMMITTEE

80 students took part in a wide range of courses including: “A beginners guide to what’s upstairs” tutored by Paul Mason and assisted by Mark Place; Plain Bob and Little Bob Minor; Grandsire Doubles and Triples; Plain Hunt; Teaching Bell Handling was run twice, once on the Isle of Wight; and “Doubles beyond Plain Bob and Grandsire”. Again in Holy Week an evening course was run at Winchester Education Centre, this time on “Calling Vocabulary Unscrambled”.

The members of the Education Committee yet again gave enthusiastic support and demonstrated theil ability to become tutors, team leaders, or any of the other roles required when running courses.

One group of individuals, yet again, made the courses a success by their unstinting support - the Education Committee owes a huge debt of gratitude to the helpers who support the courses in all conditions - if you consider you could help, even occasionally, please contact the Education Convener.

The Committee wishes to thank the towers and incumbents for the use of their bells, especially those who manage to sort the use of their Tower at short notice.

Thank you.
