Despite my appeal in last year’s report, material for the Newsletter has been in even shorter supply. There was insufficient to produce a sensible Autumn edition. I wonder whether Guild News has ‘run its course’.
The C&S District appointed a webmaster and an active site has been created and is being hosted as a subsidiary of the main Guild Site. The hosting service suffered a major hardware failure at the end of the year necessitating a temporary move to my personal web space followed by a site rebuild once service was restored.
A Guild Facebook group was created in June which has attracted 103 members so far. If you have a Facebook account search for “Winchester and Portsmouth Bellringers” and join.
