It was decided to hold the 1997 Annual Dinner in the west of the Guild, the venue being the Crown Hotel, Ringwood on Saturday 19th April.
Barry Fry, Guild Master, welcomed the Bishop of Winchester and Malcolm Powell as guest speakers, and 44 members of the Guild and their guests. After grace was said a splendid meal was enjoyed by all. Those members who did not attend certainly missed a treat.
A vote of thanks must go to the Andover Handbell Ringers, who for the second year came down and played for us.
