Thank you to All those who have helped to make the courses a great success in 1999 ... The Incumbents for use of their bells, the Tower Correspondents and Tower Captains for allowing and arranging the use of their Bells.
A special Thank you to the Tutors and helpers without whom the courses would never happen.
This year we have managed to encourage many first time helpers to the ranks Thank You. This has allowed the occasional regular to have a break, so what ever your expertise contact me and we will surely make use of your skills.
1999 saw a subtle change of emphasis from some Half-Day Courses to Whole Day Courses, allowing the opportunity to fit in 2 practical sessions and reinforcing the gained knowledge.
Courses covered a large range of subjects including “Listening and Striking”, “Ringing on Higher Numbers”, “Handbells for Beginners” and the more regular Plain Hunt, Plain Bob Doubles and Minor.
1999 saw 10 courses over 5 days with 118 students. Well done everyone.
Next Year is going to be just as much Fun, So come and join in.
