The Guild Dinner was held on Saturday 10 April, once again in the Winchester Cathedral Refectory. Over 80 Members and friends attended. The main speaker was Malcolm Tyler of Northampton, a one-time member of the Central Council’s Education Committee, who entertained us with some witty anecdotes. The Guild Master introduced him and Philip Watts replied. There was some fine change ringing on handbells: a great night was had by all. Maybe the 2000 Dinner will attract an even larger gathering.
